The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment an official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill the post of Nursing Officer at AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS institutions across India.
Selected candidates will be appointed in Level 07 of the Pay Matrix, under the pre-revised Pay Band-2 (₹9300–34800) with Grade Pay ₹4600, categorized as a Group-B post.
All eligible Indian candidates can apply online through the official AIIMS examination portal aiimsexams.ac.in. The online application process has started from 24 February 2026 and will continue until the last date 16 March 2026.

AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2026
(a.) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ state Nursing council recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing council recognized Institute/ University.
(b.) Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
OR
(a.) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
(b.) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
(c.) Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable for all Participating AIIMS.
