The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the online admit card and JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2026
exam city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2. This exam is conducted for admission into B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning courses.
All JEE Main 2026 candidates can download their exam city slip from the official portal (jeemain.nta.nic.in) starting from 21 March 2026. The Session 2 examination is scheduled to be conducted nationwide from 2 April to 8 April 2026 at designated exam centers.

JEE Main Session 2 Admit Card 2026 Instructions
- The admit card will be issued provisionally to the candidates through the NTA website, https://jeemain.nta.nic.in, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions and receipt of the prescribed application fee by NTA.
- The candidate has to download the admit card from the NTA website. The candidate will appear in the examination at the given center on the date and shift/timing as indicated in his/ her e-Admit Card.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center on the date and shift/time other than that allotted to him/ her in his/her admit card.
- In case a candidate is unable to download his/her Admit Card from the website, he/she should approach the NTA Help Line Number: 011 – 40759000 between 10.00 A.M. and 05.00 P.M.
- The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and strictly follow them during the examination.
JEE Mains Entrance Exam Scheme 2026
Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode:

Each subject will have two sections. Section A will be of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and Section B will contain questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value.
There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in Section A and Section B.

There are the following easy steps for online downloading of the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) 2026 admit card as described below:
- To visit NTA JEE Main official portal, https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Navigate to the middle of the web page; under the Candidate Activity section, click on the given link as “JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 Admit Card.”
- You will be redirected to the admit card download page of the JEE Main Session 2, April 2026, examination.
- On the admit card download page under the Candidate’s Login section, enter your application number and password correctly in the specified box.
- Next, fill in the security pin as shown below on the admit card download page.
- Finally, click on the Sign In button to download your admit card from the NTA JEE Main server.
