The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has announced recruitment for 2026, inviting online applications for 1,194 vacancies across multiple posts, including Constable, Head Constable (HC), Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), and Sub Inspector (SI) in various trades. Eligible candidates can apply through the official recruitment portal (recruitment.ssb.gov.in) starting from 21 March 2026. The last date to submit the application form is 20 April 2026.

| Constables (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter) | 18 – 23 | Matriculation or equivalent with. Two years work experience in respective trades; or One year certificate course from a recognised ITI or Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; or Two years Diploma from recognised ITI in the trade or similar trade. b.
